Цели:

образовательные:

  • провести практику речевой деятельности;
  • учить логическому высказыванию по теме;
  • активизировать в речи учащихся ЛЕ по теме “Школьная жизнь ”;

воспитательные: развивать интерес к обучению в школе и интерес к изучению английского языка;

развивающие: развивать познавательный интерес учащихся; развивать умение монологической речи, способность к догадке, воображение; Развивать навыки чтения и письма; Развитие навыков восприятия речи на слух

Оборудование: наглядные пособия по теме «Школа» (карточки, тесты, тексты для чтения), проектор с презентацией (слайды по теме «Школьная жизнь», повторение грамматического материала, новые фразы (идиомы).

 

ХОД УРОКА

I 30`

Орг. момент:

Т.: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Sit down, please.

Tell me please, who is on duty today? Who is absent?

Today we will speak about School life. We are going to revise vocabulary on this topic, use it in our speech, revise some grammar material, read text and do different assignments. During the next 30 min we are going to revise grammar rule- prepositions of time and we`ll revise vocabulary.

Now before starting the lesson let`s warm up. Ученики за учителем повторяют речевую разминку.

Т.: First of all let`s check your home task. (Who will tell me what was your home task?)

(Учитель проверяет домашнее задание (упражнение) и словари ребят).

To make sure you know words well I want you to answer my question (What is it?). Учитель делит группу на 2 команды, указывая на различные школьные предметы на мультимедийной доске, просит ребят сказать что это. Какая команда назовёт больше правильных ответов, та и выиграет. (см. презентацию)

 

Now please, look at the blackboard and read the cases when we use these prepositions of time. (Ученики повторяют грамматический материал).

Well, children, we have revised grammar material and checked your home task, now you have 5 minutes for the break.

T.: Sit down please. During the next 30 minutes we will read, do some exercises and speak about school.

 

Well, let`s talk a bit. I`m going to ask you some questions and you will answer it.

Учитель задаёт ученикам вопросы о различных уроках, в промежутках показывает слайды на повторение темы. Дети объясняют что они делают на том или ином уроке, предварительно разделившись на 2 команды, как в предыдущем задании. (см. презентацию)

 

T.: Our next task is reading of the text “My school”. (Учитель раздаёт ученикам текст «Myschool», после чтения которого они должны выполнить задание. cм. раздаточный материал II). Look at the vocabulary. Let`s read it together in order to pronounce it correctly. (Дети отрабатывают произношение новых слов, после чего приступают к заданию). Now your task is to read the text and do some exercises. (чтениеспояснением)

 

T.:We have read an interesting text and talked. Next time I will tell you your marks for this task. You may have a rest.

 


III 30`

T.: At this lesson we are going to find out some new idioms about school and make a test. Let`sstartwiththeidioms. (На экране высвечивается ситуация или предложение, дети должны по контексту догадаться, что значит идиома. Послетого, каконивысказываются, учительпоказываетпояснение).

 

Please, look at this blackboard and put down these expressions into your copybooks. (Ученикизаписываютвтетрадьновыевыражения). Try to remember it because you`ll have some task in the end of the lesson.

 

Let`s relax a bit. Try to find as mush words as possible in this riddle. (Учитель раздаёт ребятам ребус, а они ищут в нём как можно больше слов по теме и выписывают их на доску. См. раздаточныйматериал III)

 

Our last task is the test. Put down your name on the top of the paper. (Дети подписывают и выполняют тест по теме. см. раздаточный материал IV). Next time I`ll tell you your marks for this task.

MY SCHOOL

My name is Alex and I'd like to tell you a few words about my school. My school is one of the oldest specialized schools in Moscow. It's famous for its highquality education and strict discipline. The school is very well-equipped. On the ground floor there's a gym, a canteen, a library and two workshops. On the first floor there's a large assembly hall, a computer class and a language laboratory. On the second floor there are physics, chemistry and biology labs.

I go to school five days a week. Classes begin at nine o'clock in the morning. But I usually come to school ten minutes earlier. Each lesson lasts forty minutes. After three or four lessons we have a thirty-minute break. During this break we go to the canteen to have lunch. Every day we have 7 or 8 lessons. The lessons are over at four o'clock in the afternoon.

After classes I do not usually go home right away. We have some out-ofclass activities. Our social and cultural life is well-organized. For example, we have an orchestra, a choir, an arts club, an International Friendship Club. I take part in the drama club.

At school we have classes in Russian, Literature, Mathematics, Biology, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, English, History, Computer Programming. We also have Music, Physical Education, and Information Technology.

My favorite subject is English. I like to learn new words, to dramatize texts and dialogues. I like it when we discuss something interesting to us, when we are taught to debate, when we have small-group discussions or set up a role play.

I liked my class. I always feel at home there. Everybody is so friendly and easy to get along with. I am on good terms with my classmates and we often spend our free time together.
